Back to a normal life

Nor that i don't want to share anymore my life with the couples of lost people on my blog, but now, i can easily say that my life is back to normal. Not any new hot party, not any new hot opair to present, not any new hot american stuff that i never saw before and that is amazing !

This is a good bye to the blog attitude, thanks everybody, but i have to think about the next new hot step i have to make to be able to write again on this blog.

Ce blog à commencé en français, il se doit de finir en français.
Je finirai sur une phrase que j'ai déjà dis à quelques un d'entre vous :

C'était cool. A +

Graduate

Tonight, I am officially a "graduate" !

The ceremony were in a nice place, with a lot of people I haven't seen for a long time (more than a year for some of them !). Time for me to say thank you to all my friends who saw me since my seventeen, helped me to survive during the winter, helped me to become myself.

Dedicated to who I made laugh the first week of EPITA with the washing machine story, to the teachers who said : "Are you kidding ?? no you're not quitting now !", to who saw me the last time I've been smoking, to who were drunk during an English test, to who had his driving license with me, to who tried to make a marmite fly, to who said my next credit card code will be 7122, to who taught me to dance, to who tried to make some music with me, to who made me come back from the states, to who made me believed that the shortest path is not always the straight line, to who taught me not to let go, to who taught me to let go sometimes, to who stayed in ING1 and didn't go to another school, to who played with the gamecube instead of working for the exams with me and to the ones not there tonight

I'll finish this post by thanking my parents and my brothers for everything !

Moto GP France

Sunday, 9am, le mans, france.

Out of the train station : "Woh, there are motorcylcles everywhere !!!"
Yep, this is it, the French track of the MotoGp Championship !

Only two frenchies on the starting grid, and after 3 corners, both of them are at the first places. During 5 laps, all the french people around le mans were dreaming, vibrating on the rythm imposed by randy and sylvain.

It was only 5 laps, but you made us proud of being moto-addicted people !
Thanks

News

Hi !

It has been like a year I haven’t been here !
Even in the metro, we have something new :

To force people waiting for the train to let people go out before jumping into the train, they drew lines on the floor !

A quick catch up.
What have I done since my last post ?

The month of April was the warmest April ever in France. With Sly, we decided to go out in Paris to play the “tourists”. We spend some time in the bercy park, on the trocadero, at montmartre … Paris is really a beautiful city, especially when it’s sunny.

I went to le Mont st-michel with 4 friends, beer/barbecue, perfect ...

- I have seen a couple of friends from London/Princeton/Paris
Shawn and Jimmy were in Paris last week end ! Nice week end, was cool to speak English again ! We discovered THE restaurant in odéon were girls go out alone …

I have given a hug to Sarah, to her boyfriend too, Ptit Vins and Laurence were there also !!! We miss you here. It was really good to see all of you guys ! After 2 minutes I was so feeling like in Princeton !

Yep, I wasn’t the only to be thinking we were back in princeton : )

For the pictures, I hope shawn will put some on his blog (link to his blog in my links)

- I went to the "stade de france" for the first time to see a rugby (of course) match !

- I also went at Frede’s school's gala, with mouloud, fleur and “poupoune”. Very nice evening, very nice people, and ‘our’ girls were soooooooooo beautiful …

More pictures in a few days

About my professional life, I work (yeah !) in an investment bank (yeah again !) and I enjoy it. I learn a lot. I am officially in the “real world”. That means, the long motorcycle ride on monday : finished ! The jogging on Tuesday : finished !

I just have the time to drink a beer on the week end with a couple of friends, but the rest of the week is the well known metro-boulot-dodo, and really nothing else ... To spice it up a bit, I no longer go to work suit up, because now it's MOTO-boulot-dodo

Tie

Guys, do you remember the first time you learnt how to shave ?
I felt the same last week, when i learnt how to tie a tie! I already knew how to make a simple or a double knot, but i didn't knew how to make the 'half windsor'. I took my learning tie, try a couple of times.

Too long, too short :

Not like that neither :

But finally ...

Today, it's also the second sunny and warm week end since February !
So i took my triumph, and went in 'la valée des chevreuse', next to rambouillet and went for a 130 kilometers drive. I am starting to fall in love with my ride !

Broap

This is it !

Monday night, I took my helmet, and go to try a motorcycle. In less than 5 minutes i felt in love with it. Just the time to buy a new helmet (with a British flag on it) and to sign some papers, I AM NO LONGER A PEDESTRIAN !!!!

W850i and Kaamelott

When i arrived in France in January, I bought a w850i (kind of a smart phone by sony ericsson). This phone is easy to use, and is able to take some videos. But when you want to put some divx files on it, everything becomes difficult ...

Why would i want to put some videos on it ? Simple. First, i don't have any ipod video / archos, and i don't want to buy one of them now, and, I am a really really big fan of Kaamelott . For me, this tv show is one of the best French Made show ever. It's hillarious, the actors are breath taking ... And finaly, in Paris there is that :

Thanks to Shawn (his blog is in my favorites on the right of the page),I have tried PocketDivXEncoder, but the smallest bitrate that is possible to use is still too high for my phone. I tried Ripp it after me, lot of configurations possible, but after 2 hours of utilisation by a non video encoder geek, the only video size working is 320*240, witch is not 'kaamelott' (16/9) compatible.

At the end I found (with the help of Alconis whose blog is also in my favorites) videora ipod converter (http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/). You will have to create a new Profile, and only change the setting like that :

- video to ipod 1 pass, mpeg 4, bitrate 128
- audio bitrate 96

And that's it ! Now I have some of my favorites episodes on my phone ! Yeepie !
